Have you ever wondered how people get their kids to sit still while they cut their hair? They just give them a popsicle. At least that's what works around our house.
Oakley's had a few haircuts (because his mom can't stand when his hair starts sticking all over the place) and we've found that popsicles work really well. It's just about the right amount of time for mom to buzz all of his hair off. As you can see, he doesn't even care what's happening to his head. He's just excited to eat a popsicle, even if it is the middle of the winter.
Can you believe, just a year ago he had tons of little locks that curled on the sides of his head? And now look at him. He looks like he's going in the army or something. That's ok. This fits him better, and it's much less work, oh wait, NO work for mom every day.
That is awesome! I LOVE his haircut! Taija hasn't ever had a popsicle - I will have to see if she will sit still for one of those!
