February 2020

It snowed a ton one night, so the boys ended up having a snow day! Yay, no school! I loved snow days as a kid. So Much Snow and nothing else to do all day. We measured it and it was about 15 inches.
My dad had a fall while he was shoveling the neighbors driveway. He ended up tearing his quad muscle from the bone and had to have surgery. Of course this was the day that he brought mom home from the hospital after having her gallbladder removed. We had to take care of them for a while. When dad was finally able to leave the house I took him to his favorite place, Costco to shop and have lunch.
I was asked to help with an adult Valentines dance that the stake was putting on. It was fun to be back with my old youth committee and plan with them. I made Wes come, and he was nice enough to dance with me a few times. I also got a kick out of Wes's Valentines gift to me. It was flowers with a "Will you be my galentine" card on it. Ummm, I guess?
Dax got this cute little monkey for valentines and he loved carrying it around his neck like a backpack. He is such a silly kid.
My baby mamas team won first place again in the women's league. We even had three of us pregnant. It's such a fun team.
Tyson played Junior Jazz this year, and because of that, he got two free tickets to a Jaz game. Wes got to take him and they had a blast, you can tell from Tyson's chocolate face.
And little did we know that the movie we saw in the theaters would be the last movie we got to watch for a while.
Oakley's Force basketball team was invited to go to a D league game at SLCC, so him and Wes went and had a good time. They got a few autographs and got to see some great basketball.
After taking Oakley skiing by himself one day, Tyson of course asked when it was his turn. I took him up to Brighton and we had a fun day. He just goes straight down the hill and doesn't turn much. He could even dab while he was going down. We had a fun little lunch date and went up and down the bunny hill probably over twenty times. Can't wait to get him on some of the bigger lifts.

Oakley's Basketball

This year we put Oakley on a club basketball team so he could get some more reps and some better coaching. We are really impressed with his team. They did well all season and made it to the championship game. Here are a few pictures from the season.

He also got to play with some of the kids from his school on a bantam league. He had fun playing at a little higher level.
