Not much happens in our house in the middle of winter, but here are a few pictures that I snapped through January
We got a Rubix Cube for Christmas and guess how long it lasted at our house... about a week. It was interesting to see all the inner workings of the rubix cube. Even though I know how it works now, I could still never figure one out.
The boy's favorite cousin, Mason, left on a mission to Brazil. My boys will surely miss his fun loving spirit while he's gone. He is such a good example to them though. Good luck Mason!
Tyson was so excited to hold baby Eliza. He sat there for almost 10 minutes straight with her in his arms.
Oakley also enjoyed holding her. They would be awesome big brothers to a little sister. Maybe in another life ;p
Dax, maybe not so much. It's hard for an 18 month old to walk around in the snow with huge boots and puffy clothes on. He spent much of his time on the ground.
A few months ago we put a bug in mom and dad's ear that they should remodel their kitchen. Our plan as their children was to help do it while they were gone to Norway for a month, but after lots of opinions we decided the best thing to do was to just have one of us help them decide what they wanted to do and then they could do it, with our help if needed. I took on the designer hat because I live the closest and I know what mom likes and I could give my opinions and take what they want into consideration. I helped them have a plan to take out the upper cabinets above the peninsula. I also helped them pick out the cabinet doors, the granite, and the farm sink. In the end I didn't help with much labor, mostly the design, but I think it turned out beautiful. Dad did a great job.
Sometimes the boys get creative around the house, or they are working out and doing the wheel barrow. One of the two.
Dax never falls asleep outside of his crib or the carseat, so I had to document this. He's a silly kid and never stops for one minute, but this day he was extremely tired.
I am the Stake Young Women's President right now and we decided to do New Beginnings at a stake. Our theme was Dr. Seuss "Oh the Places you'll go". I did all the decorations. They were little truffula trees and cat in the hat pom poms. I also made the banner in the middle. It was fun to put it all together and the girls enjoyed it too.
