Last Discovery Gateway visit of the year

We had a pass to the Discovery Gateway this year, and of course I wanted to use it one more time before the year was over. Christmas break was the perfect time. We took Oakley's good friend Max and they had a great time climbing, exploring, and building.

Dax's Surgery

A few days after Christmas we scheduled Dax to have a small surgery on his boy parts. Our pediatrician saw something and just wanted a specialist to check it out. We of course wanted to get it in before the end of the year and our deductible reset, so on the snowiest day of the year, we headed out to Riverton and this little kiddo was a trooper the whole day. He couldn't eat before surgery and he still didn't cry at all. He just hung out and was the best baby ever.

Everything thankfully turned out to be just fine and I'm glad nothing is wrong with him. This last picture is the only after shot I got of him. He was pretty drugged up the whole day. What a trooper!

Christmas 2014

Christmas Eve is always so fun. The Mcknights know how to have a party with Pizza and Presents. Dax even fell asleep on his second cousin, Elijah.

The Thompsons do it a little differently with a formal Lutefisk dinner and Santa Clause.

It's always fun to see all the cousins and how excited they are for Christmas.

Oak got The Lego Movie video game, Tyson got little Star Wars figures, and Dax got a little car to ride on. What a great night!

The next morning was lots of fun. Ty and Oak were so excited and it was fun that they both knew what was going on. They were spoiled, that's for sure. Dax slept in and finally woke up when the other two were done, so that was nice as well for him to get some attention on his first Christmas.

Our last party was the Weenig party, and it was great to have all the cousins there to hang out with. What a fun group! They are all getting old too fast!

Zoo Lights and Temple Square

We love seeing the lights on Temple Square. We even brought our little bear with us.

Our first time to Zoo Lights. I think it will become a tradition. It was pretty awesome!
