I got to join Dax on his 2nd grade field trip to the Aquarium. There were a bunch of parents so I ended up just having him to look after, which was pretty cool to just spend the day together.
Baseball season is in full swing. In one of the games, Oakley got to pitch. He actually did better than I thought he would do. It was a nervous wreck though.
Driving home from volleyball one night I heard a huge noise and I thought I had blown a tire. I looked around and saw this lovely crack in my windshield. The weird part is that there were no cars around and I didn't see anything fly up in front of me.
For mother's day Tyson gave me a forever flower and necklace that has I love you inside of it in every language. You have to use a magnifying glass to see it, but all the languages are there. It's pretty cool.
At the elementary school they had a fun Chinese night to celebrate the year of the tiger. We went and got to see Reggie the tiger, Dax showed me his tiger and we got to see a cool dragon dance.
Oakley's band concert, and his snazzy new outfit that likes.
Cousins hanging out at Kari's last lacrosse game.
And a fun night at the baseball field watching Sandlot.
One night there was a total Lunar Eclipse and Tyson wanted to see it really bad. It was pretty cloudy, so Tyson and I drove around for a while and then finally found a spot to see it. It was ok, but would have been better if the sky was clear.
Tyson saved up his money and bought a really cool light saber that changes colors and makes noise. The boys loved battling with it and dad's lightsaber that he got from Disneyland.
Goodbye brown paint, hello nice fresh lighter paint. I took a few weeks and did a few walls a day, but ended up painting all of the main living area upstairs. I love the new color. We are getting closer to new carpet.
Dax's soccer season ended. He had a great time playing with his buddies.
Ok some things are just too cute. I came home one night and this is how I found the boys, snuggled up watching a show together. Oh my mommy heart.
Field day at the elementary school with a bubble machine
Last Day of school pictures and our neighborhood party after.
Baseball season ended for Oakley this week. He had a fun time and is always getting better. We are proud of him for sticking out this tough season.
Escape rooms for Oakley's friend's birthdays. I guess that's what everyone does now.
