Oak's first Hay Maze

Last week we went to Wheeler Farm as a family. I found some discount passes online for the haymaze and pumpkin patch that they have there, so I got them. It was pretty fun. It's definately more for children then adults, but it was fun to watch Oakley make his way through all the hay bails.
He really had no clue what was going on. He just kind of meandered around. Then we started chasing him and he had fun running through the corn stalks.
Oh, he found me. Ahhhh, he found dad too. Nice hugs.

He also found a scary witch thing that he wasn't quite sure about. And some spiders that he didn't mind touching at all. Mom wouldn't touch them though. Ugh!
About halfway through the maze he realized that he could climb on some of the hay bails and jump off. Se he did this for quite a while. It was funny to see how much fun he had just jumping off that hay. Maybe we should invest in one for our backyard. Who needs a playset when you have a hay bail? I must say, this kid has some hops. Especially for a two year old. Hopefully that's a good sign that he got his dad's hops and not his mom's.
I did want one picture of him sitting, so this was the best I could get.
Then we went to the pumpkin patch, which was just a few pumpkins scattered around. He didn't understand that we got to pick some and take them home. He just liked running through the pumpkins and sitting in the middle of them, after he fell on them of course.

Once again, mom making him pose.
Then we walked around and saw all the animals there at the farm. This guy was just chill'n on the fence.
Oakley liked the chickens that were running free all over the place. He just put his hand on the goat. He didn't really pet it.
We saw the pigs too. They smell. And Oakley got to chase the ducks around the pond. He loved that he could get so close to them.

And of course he had to play in the little playhouse thing they have there.
We had a great time as a family. The only bad part was that we didn't get to go on the wagon ride cause it was all full and we would have had to wait a half hour for the next one. So we decided to go get dinner instead. It was a lot of fun.
