Christmas

Christmas this year was so exciting, especially for Oakley. I think he's finally getting it. We had a little countdown calander that he got to take a number off each day until Santa came, and he loved taking those numbers down. At first he didn't really care, but he did it, but when there were only three numbers left he would count them and say "only 3 more till Santa comes". Then on Christmas eve eve, he was so excited because he knew that in the morning he got to take the last number (although he called them letters) down. It took him a while to go to sleep that night cause he was so excited. The next morning, Christmas Eve, he came into our room where we were still in bed and told us that he took the last letter down. It's so funny to see what they obsess about. Then the whole day of Christmas Eve he was just running around like crazy. He knew that something was happening, and he was so hyper all day. We went to two parties and had tons of fun and got to see Santa Clause at Mor Mor's house. This was the first year that he came to her house, or at least that we got to see him at her house. It was fun to see all of her cute decorations. (Mor Mor is my grandma who is 93, and she is still so with it) It took Oakley a while to go to sleep that night too because he knew that Santa was coming and he really wanted a train set from Santa. Oak kept coming out of his room that excuses, but eventually he fell fast asleep so Santa could come. This is what he left us:
Oakley was so excited in the morning. He was almost in shock. I expected him to run to the train table, but he just stood there staring at it. Then eventually he came over and started playing with it.

Oakley sure got spoiled. I don't think Santa knows when to stop making/buying toys. Oakley has been a pretty good boy this year, most of the time.

Tyson had a pretty good Christmas too. He wasn't as excited, but he was sure cute. He sat in his little chair while we all opened presents, and he helped as much as his little mitten covered hands could.

We had a wonderful Christmas and I hope all of you had a great one as well. Merry Christmas!
