Friends

My boys have some great friends and they just love it when they come over and play. Oakley always tells me that LJ is his best friend ever, and those two really are two peas in a pod. They rarely ever fight and they can play for hours together. Here they are in there new invention, the space ship they created with the little camping chairs and the slide.
LJ's little sister Ellie is one of Tyson's good friends and they play pretty well too, but they are both still young. They are so cute together.
We enjoyed a cold day swimming with our friend Nicole and her daughter Snow. Here we are all bundled up after getting out of the water. Of course we had to choose the coldest day to swim.
And Oakley's favorite cousin Kayla of course. These two really do love each other.

Wayne county

I had the opportunity to go to Wayne county with my friend Jeana and run a volleyball camp for Wayne High School in June. It was a great opportunity, the only problem was that Wes was on call so I had to bring my kiddos. One of Jeana's friends lives there so she watched them while we were doing the camp, which was so nice of her. She let us stay at her house too, except after our first night her basement flooded so she called around and found us this awesome cabin that one of her friends owns. It was the coolest place ever!! It was one giant room with a huge staircase up to a fun loft with beds and toys. The boys absolutely loved it there and it was nice to just let them run around. We had a blast, and the volleyball camp was much better then I thought it would be. The girls down there were so fun to teach. I enjoyed it very much.
The boys loved the trampoline, especially that it was in the ground so they could just run on and off of it. They loved the huge bean bags, and Oakley found a load of guns in the toy box and he was in heaven the whole night.

Father's Day

I found this fun tie at Deseret Book and the boys colored it for Wes. I made him wear it, and everyone at church told him he was the best dad ever for wearing that thing. Haha. He is a great dad! His boys love him, and so do I

Sheels

We took the boys to Scheels a while back. If you haven't been there, it is pretty amazing. There is every sporting thing known to man there. It's crazy! They have these fun exhibit things all over the store with animals for the kids to take pictures with, so of course we made them pose for every one.

Oakley and dad also got to ride the huge ferris wheel in the middle of the store. Ty is too little so we just watched from the second floor.

Poor Finger

Oakley slammed his finger in the door a few months ago. It was a pretty bad one. He wouldn't let anyone or anything touch his finger for about a month. It got totally purple and then eventually fell off. Well, it didn't really fall off, I pulled it off cause I was sick of it just dangling there.
The fingernail is finally growing back. Yay! He might not be scarred for life.

Darth Vader

Oakley is, can we say, a little obsessed with Star Wars. He has a 300 page Star Wars character dictionary that I think I've taped every page back into because he uses it so much. He loves Lego Star Wars and light saber fighting and anything that has to do with Star Wars. He found Wes's Darth Vader helmet the other day and him and Tyson had a hay day with it. Ty liked pushing the buttons on the front and hearing Darth Vader breath.
Like I said, Oakley also loves his light sabers. You can't see very well, but in these pictures he is wearing four light sabers. There are two on the left side, one on the right side, and of course the one hanging off his shirt. He figured out a way to carry all of them and have his hands free. What a resourceful kid.

Amber's Graduation

My oldest niece graduated this year. Boy am I getting old. She is such a cutie, and we were privileged to be able to attend her graduation at Abravanel Hall.
The best part of the whole thing was that I kept telling Oakley that we have to cheer loud when it's Amber's turn to walk across the stage. It was finally her turn and they called her name. We all yelled and cheered, then Oakley asked "When do I yell?" I told him right now, yell go Amber really load. So he did right while it was super quiet. Everybody giggled. I got it on video, and we all couldn't stop laughing. That silly boy.
