A few places started opening up in May. One of the first, was Thanksgiving point, mainly because it's outside and you can physically distance cause it's so big. I always love going to the tulip festival, so we took Grandma and Grandpa one day with our season pass and had a great time.

For Wes's birthday he wanted to go to the zoo with the family. That was another place that opened, so we headed there. It is so nice to get out of the house these days.

We made this fun poster for Wes. He turned 40!!

We also spent an afternoon at Katy's and Dax and Eliza had fun pretending these chairs were a car.

We have tried a bunch of new activities since quarantine. I got the boys some kinetic sand that actually stays together and they had a blast playing with it one day.

Because of the quarantine, Christmas in Color decided to give people something to do, so they set up their drive through lights in May and we were able to get tickets to go. It was busy, but worth the wait after not having anything to do the past two months.

I also took the boys to the butterfly exhibit at Thanksgiving point. We had to get in as much as we could there before our yearly pass expired. The exhibit was really cool and fun to see all the different butterflies.

This is a letter that the boys wrote me for mothers day. It was pretty sweet.

It is finally getting warm enough to turn the sprinklers on at our house. Tyson loves playing in the sprinklers and asks every day if he can play in them. Here he is using the lid of our box to hide from getting hit.

Lagoon finally opened and we were able to use our passes we got for Christmas to go in. They require masks in all the lines and the have sanitizer everywhere, so we felt pretty safe going there.

Memorial day weekend was the first time my family got together in over three months. It was nice to be with all of them and we miss them so much.

We've found that one of our favorite things is to take our scooters to Katy's church and let the kids ride around in the parking lot. They love it and it gets all their energy out. We also found that Oakley is taller than Katy now. He is sure growing.

School this year has been quite different after they cancelled in person schooling in March. The boys have been doing home school every day and their teachers have all of it online for them to do. This was Oakley's last year at Ridgecrest Elementary so they had a little drive by parade for the fifth graders. It was fun for the kids to see their teachers for the last time.

Now that Dax is in school also, I had to get a matching shirt for him. This is the boys on their would be last day of school if everything had gone as planned.
