These boys can make such a mess with their toys some times. They love playing in the kitchen for some reason and in the middle of the floor. I do love seeing them use their imagination though.
*Tyson was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was a special day for him, and we had a bunch of family that traveled to see him take this big step in his life. We are so proud of him.
This is the first year that we didn't sign Oakley up for Jr. Jazz, but instead found a club that is close and needed a few more players. He plays for the Utah Force Black team and he is enjoying it. He is always the tallest kid out there, and a few times we have heard other parents ask for his birth certificate.
*The annual JetBlue Santa pictures, and gingerbread decorating with our cousins.
The boys did great in the Christmas singalong. This is the only year that all three will be in it, and it was fun to be there watching them.
With our Thanksgiving point pass, we get a discount to the events there. We went to the Luminaria display, which is a ton of lights and music that you walk through and see. They were all amazing, it was cold, but amazing.
Wes and I have been able to play on a coed team together now that the boys are old enough to stay home alone. We ended up winning the fall league. It is fun to still be able to play.
*For Eliza's birthday we joined our cousins at the Zoo Lights. It was so to see all the lights shaped as animals and walk through the cool tunnel.
In Utah, all of the 5th graders can get a pass that lets them ski at every resort in Utah three times for free. I decided to take advantage so we got the pass and are trying to get the boys to learn to ski. We went up to Nordic valley one day and Kristie helped the boys on the little bunny hill. They did well, but I think we traumatized Tyson by making him go on the lift and come down the big hill. He wasn't quite ready. The next day, which was Christmas Eve, just Oakley and I went up to Brighton with Katy and her kids and we had a fun time going down the hill there. Oak did really well and he's getting much better.
Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Thompsons. The boys all got Legos and we had a fun night with the anticipation of the next day. I didn't get any pictures on Christmas, we just enjoyed the day and had fun playing with all the new toys we got.
The day after Christmas we finally got to see the new Star Wars movie. The boys loved it and did great in the theater.
We also got to pull out one of Tyson's gifts, a chocolate fountain. He was so excited and they all enjoyed dipping yummy things in the chocolate and eating them.
Christmas in color is one of our favorite things now. We got to ride in the back of Grandpa Mcknights truck and we loved it.
