Grandma had her other hip replaced this month, so Dax and I went to visit her. I asked her before we went if she wanted us to bring anything, and now I know where I get it. She just wanted some chocolate, Snickers to be exact. Of course we obliged.

  It's getting so nice outside that we have been going to lots of different parks to get our energy out. This is one of our best kept secrets, Crestwood Park. It's over in the gully by Creek road. It has a really old park with wood stumps and a river and bridges near it. The boys love to explore there. 

 

 We had a fun party for Cinco de Mayo at the Mcknights. The kids got to break open a pinata and run around with their cousins.

 Tyson went to the dentist for the first time and he did great. Here he is showing the dentist how he brushes his teeth. He did have some cavities, so we will be back, but he was really brave.

   

 

 All of my sisters were planning to go to St. George for a sisters trip one weekend, but with mom having hip surgery we decided to stay in town with her and just make one big day of partying. We ended up going to the Timpanogos temple, eating lunch at Archibalds at gardner village, riding grandpa's new bike around the block, shopping for and planting flowers in mom's yard, eating a yummy meal and then playing Continental shift and Killer bunnies. It was seriously one of the most memorable days. I loved just hanging out with all the girls and enjoying each other. 

 

 

 With the Jordan Temple re-dedication, the youth did a bunch of activities leading up to it. One of those activities was walking to the temple from your stake center, or another church that was closer. We ended up walking about four miles from a church in West Jordan to the temple. It was a little rainy, but nothing we couldn't handle. It was pretty amazing, because they had youth from all over the valley walk to the temple from all sides and it was cool once you got closer and joined with all the other youth on the temple grounds. It was a huge thing and it was amazing to be a part of.

  Mother's Day gifts from the boys. They really are the best kids around. 

 

Peyton, our setter, got married. We went to the reception after playing volleyball all day. What a cute couple.

 Found a new past time, water balloons on the trampoline. We are so ready for summer.

 

 We had never really celebrated Memorial day. I remember when I was a kid, we would always gather flowers from the yard and take them to the graves on Sunday night. So we decided to take some flowers to Mor Mor and Far Far's grave and GG and Big Johns grave. The kids were very curious about the graves and how they dig them, and why GG was in a wall and not the ground. It was a good learning experience for them. We also went to the Casper's grave and left flowers there. We will probably do this every year.

 

 Back to Lagoon, only this time I was by myself. It was still fun, we just couldn't split up cause dad wasn't there. We are loving the season passes so far. 

Dax cracks me up. He got all of this animals, pillows and blankets and put them on the couch. Then he grabbed his i-pad and earphones and hung out on the comfiness.
