Oceanside 2018

This year we bought our own condo at Oceanside. Now we have a place to stay every year, and it is all ours. We were so excited to go enjoy the sun and the beach.
We decided to split up the drive down into two days instead of just one, so we drove to Las Vegas on Saturday and stayed at the Luxor. The boys thought it was pretty cool to be inside the huge pyramid and stay in the room there.
We walked over to the Excaliber and went downstairs to their arcade room. We gave each of the boys $5 to spend however they wanted. Dax just wanted to ride the little kid rides, Tyson and Oakley played some of the tougher arcade games with Wes. They had a blast.
We ended up walking around the intersection by New York, New York and getting some sweet pictures. Then none of the boys wanted to sleep on the floor so we tried to have all three boys sleep in the same bed. That was a mistake. Dax was so wiggly and they didn't fit very well. We made it through though.
We made it to Oceanside with plenty of time to play on the beach before the sun set. The boys were glad to be out of the car. Even though we split the ride up, it seemed longer because we were in the car for two days instead of just one. I don't know if we will do that again.
Most of our time was spent playing on the beach and in the condo. One day it was a little windy and chilly, but the other days weren't so bad. I got a pedicure with the girls.

One night we went to Ruby's Diner on the pier, and Dax was so tired, he couldn't stay awake. He drifted off before we even got our food, and had a nice little nap there on the bench. It was the most peaceful dinner we've ever had.
We had to get our annual picture on the seal. I will have to compare this one to the one we took of Oakley a while back, because Dax and Oak look so much alike.
One day on the beach we carved out a sea turtle. It was pretty sweet.
We were there during Thanksgiving, so we decided to go to SeaWorld on Thanksgiving day thinking that it would be less crowded since everyone should be with their families. It was less crowded, but all the Asians were still there since they don't celebrate Thanksgiving. Our favorite show was definitely the Orcas. They were so cool to see in real life.
It was really fun to have Scott and Lily join us. We had a blast. Probably won't go back for a while, but it was really fun to see it once.
More beach shenanigans. This time it was a massive drip castle. Tyson even tried boogie boarding and he got pretty good at it.
One night we went to see Wreck it Ralph 2, Ralph breaks the internet. It was a really funny movie and we were laughing the whole time.
It ended up being Annie's birthday the last day we were there, so we went out to Ruby's again and got the best seats in the house, up on the second level. This vacation was the best, and now it's a wrap.
