Since we didn't renew our Pass of all Passes we needed somewhere else to go for fun, and that place is the Murray outdoor pool. The boys love the diving boards and the big slide. Dax just goes up and down the slide over and over. He finally got up enough nerve to jump off the diving board and he loved it. Now all three boys have gone off of it. What a brave kid.
We just bought a timeshare in Oceanside, so we told the boys they could have a Lemonade stand and any money they made would go toward buying something in California. They were excited to be out selling some yummy drinks.
We tried out Subzero ice cream for the first time. Mom was on Keto, so she didn't get any, but the boys thought it was ok. Not as creamy as they like, but it was ice cream. We also had to fit in a few last trips to Lagoon before the summer was over. We even went to Lagoon-a-beach a few times, no pics. The boys loved the slide with the tubes and the pools where you go from one pool to another. I am glad they are getting over their fear of waterslides.
Summer is getting short, so fitting in a morning at Get Air was a must. We went the the Westenskows and our friends the Craguns. It was a blast as usual.
We also tried a new splash park in Sandy that we had never been to before. It was a little chilly, but the kids loved that there was a little river to play in. It's always fun to hang out with cousins.
First day of school for the older boys. Tyson is in first grade and gets to stay all day and have lunch at school now. Oakley is in 4th Grade. He got a new Oakley shirt and thought he was so cool wearing sun glasses to school.
Dax started Pre-school with Miss Myra in the 5th ward. He loves going and every day he comes home with a box full of fun activities that they did.
Our anniversary was low key this year. We went out to eat and then played miniature golf at Muligans. We haven't played a real game of mini golf forever. Liz won!!
