March 2018

We always have to go sledding at least once a year, and we found a time to do it. Bonus, we didn't get stuck in the parking lot this year, yay!

This year is stake girls camp, and our theme is "You Ready", meaning, are you ready to learn, listen, walk and have peace in Christ. We made these awesome sweatshirts and had a camp introduction activity. I'm so excited.
This year Oakley got to play on a basketball team with all of his friends from school. He is getting so much better. I love these pictures cause it shows how much bigger he is than all the other kids.
Like I mentioned before, I am working a bunch more tournaments this year to get ready for my Junior National. One of the tournaments was in Boise, so I ended up bring Karlia along with me because she was thinking of moving there and had a friend up there she wanted to see. It was nice to have the company and have a little road trip with her.
These boys are so funny. They wanted to go out and play in the rain. Tyson cracked me up with his shorts and boots. At one point they were just playing around and all of a sudden a huge lightning struck really close and a loud thunder followed. They boys freaked out and ran inside crying.
On another day, Tyson came with me to Sara's Lacrosse game at Brighton. It was a little dreary, but we had fun watching and dancing to the music.
At the Park Center in Murray, the do an event called the Egg Splash. You pay and sign up your kids by their age, and then they spread out eggs all over the pool and when the whistle blows you gather all the eggs you can. Some of the eggs have tickets in them that mean you win something. Most of them don't have anything, but everyone gets a little prize at the end. The boys loved gathering the eggs in their little mesh bags. At one point Tyson's spilled all out and he had to gather them again, but he had fun.
Dax was so cute. He would just grab one egg here and then run/swim somewhere else and grab another egg. He didn't just stay in one spot and grab all the eggs around him. He had to go down the slide a few times too.

Now that Tyson knows his letters he is able to play Battleship. I played with him one day, but it was a little tricky trying to teach him when you put the little pins on the bottom chart or the top chart. We had fun though.
The Easter Bunny came for Easter this year. He brought the boys some root beer, legos, video games, and treats. The boys were really excited.

The Easter Bunny also left eggs outside for the boys. They had fun gathering them. Dax was sick, so he didn't get to join in the fun until a few days later when we let the older boys hide the eggs for him and let him find them. Poor kiddo.
