Not too much was going on this month. Just a few odds and ends.
Grandma McKnight sent the boys shirts and books from Arizona. I think she misses them when they are gone for so long. We also got to have the Deans over to play while their parents were at a wedding. Oak loves playing with them, Lincoln, Oliver, and Thomas.
For Parker's birthday we went to Nicklecade and the boys had a blast. Dax spent the whole time on these little kiddy rides and he loved it. He is also obsessed with these cheap sunglasses that I found and he loves wearing them around and on top of his head as well.
For Easter we got to go out to the Property for the first time for the "Sometimes Annual Easter Egg Hunt" with the McKnights. It was fun to be out there and let the kids play. There were so many Easter Eggs, I think the Easter Bunny got sick of spreading them out and just dumped them here and there. The kids had a blast finding them, and I'm sure whoever goes out there next will find a few leftovers as well.
While the kids were searching for the eggs, Tyson started crying and found me. He said he had accidentally sat on a cactus. Yikes! I took him to the car, and yes, there were little prickles all over his little bum. I pulled them all out and I couldn't put the same pants back on him, so luckily I had an extra pair in the car. They were a few sizes too small, and a little crazy looking, but it was better than having pokies in his bottom.
Once we were done at the Property we headed to Grandma Thompson's and had another Easter Egg hunt there. That was fun as well, and nobody sat on a cactus.
Easter Sunday Outfits:
Oakley was quite a bit bigger than the rest of his baseball team this year. It was funny to see him out there with all the little kids. I feel that this is just the norm and he'll never be the same size as his team. His team was a little young so he didn't get to practice on his skills much. He was getting better at hitting and throwing.
Dax loved running around and rolling down the hill during the games.
There's something about babies in just their diapers that I love, and Oak wanted to get in on the picture as well.
I found this little yogurt handprint one night when I came home from volleyball and it reminded me to enjoy the kids while they are young. I called the handprint a "Little Love Note" because my kids won't be little for too much longer.
Sometimes you just have to get out of the house, so I took the two littles to the mall and we found this cool car to sit in. The boys stayed in it for about ten minutes.
I have so much fun playing with my volleyball team on Monday nights. I always look forward to that night, and this time it was fun to play against such a fun team as well. We ended up on top, which is always the best.
The boys got some cool light saber toothbrushes from Annie and they love brushing their teeth now. I caught this cute moment of Dax giving Wes hugs and being his pal.
